I'm uncomfortable

I'm Uncomfortable.png

A performative sculpture of the anti-bust (a women's lower abdomen and groin inverted) made of red-stained ice melting over a white plinth.

The caption reads a traditional art plaque, the name, the author, the year of the creation as it is performed, and the material stated as 'menstrual blood'.

A piece intersecting how the everyday feels uncomfortable with female nudity/body in a non-sexual context, as well as my own struggle as someone with severe menstrual functional issues causing chronic pain and infertility, as well as my own relationship with my genitalia as a transgender man
